Join a Century-Long Legacy of Precision:
Tsubaki has been a global leader in power transmission since 1917. While our Canadian division has been a staple since 1973, we aren’t standing still. We are currently undergoing a major modernization of our Ruskin facility, integrating brand-new CNC equipment to expand our manufacturing capabilities.
We aren't looking for temporary help; we are looking for a long-term team member to grow with us as we bridge our manual machining expertise with state-of-the-art CNC technology.
Why Tsubaki is Your Last Career Move:
- The Commute: Located in Ruskin, we are a "reverse commute" for Mission and Abbotsford residents. Spend less time at the Mission Bridge and more time at home.
- Modern Equipment: We are investing in new CNC lathes and mills. If you’re a manual machinist looking to level up, we will train you on Mastercam and CNC programming.
- Global Stability, Local Feel: Benefit from the backing of a company with 100+ years of history, while working in a tight-knit, 8-hour day shift environment.
- Financial Security: * Competitive wages + Overtime opportunities.
- RRSP Matching and Profit Sharing program.
- Comprehensive Health & Dental + Annual boot allowance.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, saws, and drills.
- Help lead our transition into CNC (Setup, Operating, and Programming).
- Read and interpret complex drawings for high-precision parts.
- Perform quality inspections to maintain our century-old reputation for excellence.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (Certification provided).
What You Bring:
- Certification: Red Seal Journeyperson or Apprentices of all levels.
- Experience: Strong manual machining skills are essential; CNC experience is a plus, but a "willingness to learn" is what we value most.
- Reliability: You’re looking for a stable, long-term home where your skills are respected.
- Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
