  • You’re a problem solver who loves a challenge, demonstrating strong analytical skills and good judgement. You’re organized yet flexible to address whatever change comes your way.

  • Doing things right is important to you. You care about everyone’s safety.

  • You enjoy driving and being on the road. You have a clean BC Driver License Class 5 or higher.

What you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry, with prior supervisory experience in another position.

  • Diploma in business management, or equivalent experience.

  • A Red Seal certification in Automotive Mechanical repair, or equivalent work experience.

  • Comfortable using technology, including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to work varied hours, including weekends.

  • Willingness to travel locally to support BCAA technicians as required.

What you’ll do:

  • Recruit, train, develop, coach, and manage team members to meet objectives and ensure skill development.

  • Support and cultivate a 'Safety First' culture through regular roadside visits with Fleet Drivers.

  • Hold overall performance and accountability for Fleet Driver operational KPIs, encompassing both towing and service aspects.

  • Foster a culture of belonging and unity within the fleet and management, promoting good team engagement.

  • Execute strategies to consistently achieve high customer satisfaction scores, measured through NPS/CSI metrics.

  • Procure and maintain necessary tools and equipment for Fleet Drivers, ensuring safety and efficiency through vendor negotiation and inventory management.

  • Execute Fleet Driver duties during periods of high call volume and/or emergencies, primarily stationed at the Burnaby Depot with occasional travel across the BC Lower Mainland.

The salary range for this position is $78,300 to $87,000 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
