Position Information Position Title Employment Resource Specialist Posting Type Temporary End Date (if applicable) 10/08/2027 Classification Title FT Support Staff E Pay Band E Min Salary $29.83 Max Salary $34.42 Position Summary This position is responsible for customer service, reception, promotion, and registration and pre-assessment of clients, data entry, employment programs and coordinating administrative details for the NEW Community Employment Resource Centre in Thunder Bay. Location/Campus Thunder Bay Campus Education Minimum level of formal education required for the position 2 year diploma or equivalent education Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the position No additional requirements Additional Requirements Field(s) of Study English, Business, Human Resources, Communications and/or Service and Hospitality Experience Typical number of years of experience, in addition to the necessary education level, required to perform the responsibilities of the position Minimum of three (3) years Type of Experience Related experience in Human Resources, English, Hospitality or Service Environment. Experience facilitating workshops. Experience in employment advisement and referrals.

  • RI equipment (photocopier, fax, computers, scanner) and put in service calls to appropriate resources when needed
  • Crisis intervention training
