Job description

River Rock Casino Resort is currently looking for energetic Busperson for Curve. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Curve area and providing customer service within the F&B outlet.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Clearing and cleaning tables and/or counters as soon as they are vacated
  • Removing used dishes/glasses/cutlery/linen and paper products and disposing of them according to the outlet operational guidelines
  • Assisting in overall maintenance of F&B areas including floors walls & windows
  • Minimizing breakage by properly filling bus pans
  • Assisting on restocking and maintaining a clean and tidy stock area
  • Running food and providing guests with additional items as required
  • Cleaning spills as they occur
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Serving It Right certificate required
  • Minimum 6 months employment with GCE
  • The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. The hours of work will be based on customer and business needs.
