Learning and Development Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Learning and Development Analyst.
Learning and Development Analyst Job Duties:
- Work with Senior Change Lead, Senior PMs and managers to identify learning needs and design effective training programs
- Document learning needs assessment and training plan
- Work with managers to develop training schedule
- Prepare educational material such as online learning module, learning aids, user guides, videos, etc.
- Coordinate with PHSA corporate Learning & Development team as required.
- Work with the Senior Change Lead to manage overall training resources, assets and knowledge base
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions, online or in-person (most likely online)
- Provide support to product team, subject-matter experts and local peer support resources to ensure a successful product launch
- Work with product team to build and validate all training / educational materials
- Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
- Monitor employee performance and response to training
- Liaise with IMITS Communications to develop and execute effective communications and change management plans (including engagement with Business/Clinical Working Group (BWG), governance and site sponsors as required).
- Support the Senior Change Lead in developing an engagement strategy, plan and schedule to support the technology, training and deployment activities.
- Provide thought leadership to support communication and artifacts for readiness activities and transition to sustainment including Service desk and NTT where appropriate.
- Work with Cloud Services Leadership and all relevant stakeholder teams to identify, document, manage, and resolve issues and risks identified including mitigating change and training impacts.
- Support communications and distribution of engagement toolkits (including templates, key messages, etc.).
- Support other Cloud Services change management team members (e.g. change and communications analyst(s) and testers)
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups.
- Facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials)
- Produce presentation and training materials / videos, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned.
Learning and Development Analyst Mandatory Skills:Critical / Mandatory skillset:
• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
• Minimum two (2) years' experience as a trainer, corporate training analyst, or related position.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption through change management methodologies, communication and education.
• Willingness to keep current with new techniques and technologies in corporate teaching
• Proven communication, presentation and public speaking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including expertise in technical writing. Instructional design experience is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Critical thinking and decision making
- Ability to take ownership and independently drive progress.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively facilitate discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders, users, etc.
• Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to deliver on time and on budget
• Excellent leadership, team building, and collaboration skills
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Desirable skillset:
• 2+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities
• Certification from a training association is an asset
• Degree/Diploma in Communications, Business Administration or related field
• Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards preferably gained in the PHSA, PHC or VCH environment
• Strong demonstrated experience in developing and implementing clinical change management and communications plans
• Ability to adapt evolving technology requirements as they are introduced during the project and applying these into a clinical context to meet user requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clinical and business stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to translate and express clinical, process and technical problems, outcomes and benefits using layperson terms
• Strong preference will be given to candidates that have direct experience designing and implementing training strategies that support adoption in a large, complex multi-stakeholder environment
References (supervisor level) will be requested and checked for all past BC Health Authority experience (within last 5 years)Learning and Development Analyst Work Assignment Length:
