Responsibilities / Vos missions

Concevoir et développer des transformateurs secs en utilisant des logiciels comme SolidWorks et AutoCAD Electrical.
Élaborer des schémas électriques et mécaniques, ainsi que des estimations de coûts.
Agir comme personne-ressource pour le développement de nouveaux produits et l'optimisation des processus existants.
Rédiger la documentation technique (plans, notices, procédures).
Collaborer avec les équipes de production, R&D et qualité pour garantir la conformité et la performance des produits.
Analyser les défaillances système et proposer des solutions correctives.
Participer aux réunions techniques et aux tests de validation.

Responsibilities / Your Responsibilities

Design and develop dry-type transformers using software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical.

Create electrical and mechanical schematics and cost estimates.

Serve as a technical resource for new product development and process optimization.

Prepare technical documentation (blueprints, manuals, procedures).

Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure product compliance and performance.

Analyze system failures and propose corrective solutions.

Participate in technical meetings and validation tests.

Profile / Requirements / Profil

Diplôme : Bac+5 en Génie Électrique (ou équivalent).

Expérience : 5 ans minimum en conception de transformateurs (obligatoire).

Compétences techniques : connaissance des normes IEC 60076, ANSI C57, CSA; expérience en lecture de plans électriques et mécaniques; capacité à effectuer des calculs manuels (bobinage, isolation, refroidissement).

Langues : Français courant, anglais technique (obligatoire pour la documentation).

Atouts supplémentaires : Membre de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); expérience en simulation (ANSYS Maxwell, ETAP) ou en programmation (Python, C++); connaissance des matériaux (cuivre, résine, acier).

Profile / Requirements

Education : Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience : Minimum 5 years in transformer design (mandatory).

Technical Skills : Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical (strong asset); knowledge of IEC 60076, ANSI C57, CSA standards; experience in reading electrical and mechanical blueprints; ability to perform manual calculations (winding, insulation, cooling).

Languages : Fluent in French, technical English (required for documentation).

Additional Assets : Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); experience in simulation (ANSYS Maxwell, ETAP) or programming (Python, C++); knowledge of materials (copper, resin, steel).
