The Lethbridge Curling Club was established in 1886, making it one of Alberta’s earliest organized curling clubs. In 2012, the LCC evolved into a much larger, more sophisticated facility, making them one of the largest curling centers in Canada. Throughout its history, the LCC has been an integral gathering place for curlers and fans alike, fostering connection, sportsmanship and a shared love of the game. From frozen ponds to a state-of-the art facility, the Lethbridge Curling Club continues to build provincial and national success, enhancing Lethbridge’s rich curling legacy.

Compensation & Hours :
$80,000 - $90,000Extended hours during the peak season, including evenings and weekendsFull-time, year-round roleFlexible and reduced hours during the summer monthsPosition Summary :
Lead strategic planning with the Board of DirectorsManage operations, finances, staff, and facility upkeepOversee all programming, leagues, rentals, and eventsSupervise food & beverage and ice maintenance teamsBuild partnerships and promote community engagementEnsure exceptional member experience and serviceManage volunteers during events across a variety of operational needsCoordinate event promotions, community newsletters, and media releases to engage members and the broader communityRequired Qualifications :
5-7 years of progressive management experience in sports, recreation, hospitality or related.Experience managing multi-department operationsProven success in budget and financial oversightStrong background in hospitality, recreation, or club leadershipKnowledge of curling and / or sport-based community organizationsAvailable for flexible work hours including events and weekendsBonus Points For :
