2425-276Salary range : $62,633.80 to $73,686.83 annuallyResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing…The Administrative and Project Coordinator, Office of Learning and Transformation (OLT) is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day department operations for the Director, Office of Learning and Transformation;
as well as supporting the OLT Management / Leadership team through active participation in project coordination, and planning for long-range achievement of overall goals of the department.
This position provides senior level administrative support to the Director, demonstrating independence, discretion and initiative in anticipating needs, while juggling multiple and competing priorities.
Exceptional organizational skills, problem solving and time management skills are essential. Confidentiality and discretion are absolute requirements of this position.
Key areas of responsibility include the development and oversight of OLT administrative functions and supporting the Director and OLT team with projects and / initiatives including, but not limited to : oversight and coordination of finance forms,stewardship of department information management processes,execution of changes and updates of public and internal documents, tools, and platforms stewarded by the OLTcoordination and support of year end budget cycle planning,coordination for various OLT strategic initiatives and projectssupporting selected Board and Executive priorities coordinated by the OLT.
As a key partner and support to the Director and OLT leadership team, the Administrative & Project Coordinator plays an important role in monitoring, coordinating and tracking the work of the department, while taking the lead on assigned projects and initiatives.
QualificationsQualifications and Occupational Experience : Diploma or degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in business or office administration.
The incumbent requires a minimum of five years progressive experience in a management / leadership support role, combined with at least two years' experience in support of a director (or equivalent) role.
Experience with the coordination and implementation of projects; specifically, with research, tracking and analysis.Experience in project management and event coordination would be an asset.
Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft suite of Office software and OutlookExperience with systems such as PeopleSoft would be an asset.
