RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driver recruitment and training. Help the onboarding DPs with the process of getting brought on. Provide training and materials before the DPs start to ensure they know all SOP’s and the metrics they are judged by.
- Reviewing next days runs. Double checking route accuracy and feasibility.
- Confirming DPs for next day’s runs
- Overseeing loadout. Help facilitate the DP’s loadout process. (missing items, cancellations, no fits, etc.)
- Holding the DP’s accountable for adhering to the SOP’s and for their FTOT and NPS scores
- Assigning and managing the hub mail box
- Overseeing and managing the Logistics Coordinators and ensuring that they are meeting the standards of their positions
- Coordinating and assisting the various support groups (Dispatch, Call Center, Claims, etc.) with their questions and requests.
- Dealing with any escalations and customer complaints
- Assist warehouse / returns with any inquiries / investigations required
- Handling / investigating property and item claims. Liaising with the Claims department
- Ensuring all EOD tasks have been completed (DP packages printed, calls launched. Routes covered)
- Route audits for DPs and company truck
- Assist with customer pick-ups (locating, paperwork, loading)
EXPERIENCE
3 year’s experience as a supervisor or 3 years’ experience in logistics.
