The Opportunity :

This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents visitors and other staff members.

What Is In It For You :

Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily call in basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments.

Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care.

Maintains attendance / absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care.

What You Will Need :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education an asset.
• Must have exceptional English communication skills both orally and in writing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR.
