The Opportunity
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing meaningful insights that help shape business decisions and strategy across the Company.

Reporting to the Director, Finance Operations, the FP&A Analyst is a strong resource that supports creating value and influencing behavior through strategic and financial planning, forecasting, and creative analysis to derive insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and update financial models and analytics to support the organizations financial decision-making
• Maintain and develop processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Enhance, develop, and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in normal course, and on an ad-hoc basis to explore value-add opportunities identified
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within the FP&A team as well as other stakeholders
• Develop long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis
• Monitor and report on KPI performance, trends and variances
• Manage the development of new reporting tools and systems
• Identify and advise on potential risks and opportunities
• Evaluate opportunities to improve the efficiency and usability of financial reporting
• Explore opportunities to simplify and enhance current processes and deliverables
• Assist Director, Finance Operations, in long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years in financial planning and analysis or field providing similar skillset
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to derive meaning from financial data and communicate results
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience using a planning and budgeting application preferred
• Experience using reporting applications preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and a team-first mentality
• Creative mindset to think outside the box and develop new solutions
