The Opportunity
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing meaningful insights that help shape business decisions and strategy across the Company.
Reporting to the Director, Finance Operations, the FP&A Analyst is a strong resource that supports creating value and influencing behavior through strategic and financial planning, forecasting, and creative analysis to derive insights.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain and update financial models and analytics to support the organizations financial decision-making
- Maintain and develop processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Enhance, develop, and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in normal course, and on an ad-hoc basis to explore value-add opportunities identified
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within the FP&A team as well as other stakeholders
- Develop long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis
- Monitor and report on KPI performance, trends and variances
- Manage the development of new reporting tools and systems
- Identify and advise on potential risks and opportunities
- Evaluate opportunities to improve the efficiency and usability of financial reporting
- Explore opportunities to simplify and enhance current processes and deliverables
- Assist Director, Finance Operations, in long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports
Qualifications :
Minimum 1-3 years in financial planning and analysis or field providing similar skillsetBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldAdvanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to derive meaning from financial data and communicate resultsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerpointExperience using a planning and budgeting application preferredExperience using reporting applications preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressureAbility to develop strong working relationships and a team-first mentalityCreative mindset to think outside the box and develop new solutionsAt Bridgemans Services Group we believe that each employee contributes directly to our growth and success.
