Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Production Technician plays a crucial role in assembling products and conducting final product tests. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong quality awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret written and pictorial instructions to gather necessary mechanical parts.
• Assemble parts according to set instructions.
• Work at either an individual station or on an assembly line.
• Utilize power tools, torque tools, drills, and screwdrivers.
• Stand for the majority of the workday.
• Assemble 15 batteries per day on each line.
• Flexibly assist in the warehouse and packaging as needed.

Work Environment

Our Client operates in a clean, bright, and warm manufacturing floor dedicated to producing lithium batteries for marine applications. The work environment is multicultural, with a focus on productivity. The dress code is comfortable casual, with steel-toed work boots required. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with potential overtime on weekends. Employees can expect a 50-hour workweek during busy periods.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
