As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Machinist / Mold Maker with strong manual machining and hands-on bench fitting skills to lead mold maintenance and build activities.

Role Summary :

The Machinist / Mold Maker will be responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing injection / blow molds using manual machining, EDM, hand-fitting, and precision tooling techniques. The Machinist provides both advanced machining capability and mold-building expertise, ensuring high-precision mold construction, maintenance, and repair. This role combines machining, EDM operations, bench fitting, and mold troubleshooting.  This is a hands-on, craftsmanship-focused position ideal for a toolmaker who takes pride in precision work, problem-solving, and mentoring junior technicians in a traditional toolroom environment. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Engineering & Production to deliver reliable tooling, optimize cycle time and quality, and support continuous improvement.

Note : This position is ideal for a career toolmaker with deep hands-on skills in blow mold design elements such as neck finishes, pinch-off systems, parting lines, slides, cooling channels, and venting . This role is primarily manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders). CNC operation / programming is not required .

Key Responsibilities :

Mold Making & Tooling :

• Build & assemble new molds and tooling.
• Perform mold repairs and refurbishments (bench work, fitting, grinding, hand tools).
• Operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, radial arm drill, and standard toolroom equipment.
• Fabricate replacement mold components as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on molds and tooling.
