Lead Developer - Burnaby

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office, 2 remote for the week.

The Role

RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Lead Developer as we continue to grow our Vancouver based practice. The Lead Developer is a hands-on role responsible for architecture and driving the development of our low code, highly configurable SaaS product. This role will work on a dynamic development team in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver a customized solution for our clients. Mentor team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.

Day to Day Activities Include

• Envisioning innovative solutions for complex problems, leveraging advanced understanding of software engineering principles.
• Leading technical design sessions, prototype work, and proofs-of-concept.
• Hands-on analysis, design, and development to enable further product scalability and interoperability.
• Working with the project manager to remove obstacles, review design, and ensure releases meet the needs of stakeholders.
• Mentoring team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.
• Actively contributing to software development design and coding standards.
• Verifying all completed work follows best practices and engineering standards.

Supporting cross-functional teams in testing, deploying, and implementing the product.
