Job Description

You will be working on custom yachts, with two projects currently in progress and two more starting soon. This project requires someone with experience working with copper.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing and pipefitting tasks.
• Build and install systems such as fresh water, salt water, black water, gray water, bilge and deck drainage, finish plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
• Work collaboratively in teams with other trades; effective communication is key.
• Work can be slow-paced and may require problem-solving and figuring out solutions on the go.

Essential Skills

• Level 3+ registered hours in plumbing and pipefitting.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
• Experience working with copper, PVC, aluminum, and copper nickel.
• Ability to operate tools and machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Red Seal Plumber or Red Seal Pipefitter certification.
• HVAC installation and equipment knowledge.
• Trades certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing and / or pipefitting.
• Comfortable working with various materials such as copper, PVC, aluminum, and copper nickel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Safety-conscious and knowledgeable in this space.

Work Environment

The work is primarily indoors and covered but may involve some outdoor tasks. The environment can be dusty. The schedule typically involves 4x10 shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility available after proving oneself.
