The Opportunity :

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking to add a Clinical Director to their team in Windsor, Ontario . The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring that clinical programs and services meet regulatory standards, align with organizational goals, and consistently exceed patient expectations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For :

  • Providing strategic leadership to the clinical team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the clinical department.
  • Ensuring that all clinical programs and services meet regulatory requirements and adhere to best practices in healthcare delivery.
  • Monitoring clinical outcomes and quality indicators and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of care.
  • Championing a patient-centred approach to care, ensuring that all clinical services are delivered with empathy, compassion, and respect for patients’ rights and dignity.
  • Implementing initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and engagement, soliciting feedback, and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and improve the overall patient experience.
  • Developing and managing the clinical department budget and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a combination of related work experience.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a clinical environment.
  • Proficient in financial and organizational management including change management, negotiation, business planning, proposal writing, program assessment, policy creation, and fundraising.
  • Proven track record in strategic and operational planning, finance, risk management, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Experience collaborating with community partners, government entities, and other stakeholders.
  • Understanding of legislation and provincial policies.
  • A visible and compassionate leader with strong communication skills capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate diverse and respectful relationships, fostering a culture of inclusion and equity.
  • Upholds a high standard of ethics and integrity, inspiring others with a compelling vision.
  • Skilled in leading diverse teams through complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
