Role : Business Analyst with Data Modeling

Location : Mississauga, ON (hybrid / 3 days a week from day one)

Overview :

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis and strong in data Modeling with a focus on capital markets.

The candidate should also have expertise in SQL. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data within the capital or fixed markets domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Perform data analysis and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute project plans.

Requirements : You are :

You are :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital or fixed markets industry.
  • Strong in data modeling
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and investment banking.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

It would be great if you also had :

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
