Boutique Hotel Manager

Are you an experienced hospitality leader ready to make your mark on a new luxury hotel in the heart of Victoria, BC? We seek an exceptional General Manager to lead our 25+-room boutique hotel, with exclusive long-stay suites, and luxury spa operations upon its opening.

This property offers a refined experience that sets a new standard in luxury hospitality on Vancouver Island. As the General Manager, you will drive the hotel’s launch and ongoing success.

This role requires a highly collaborative, team-focused leader with a commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including guest services, team management, and ensuring a seamless luxury experience for every guest.

The Salary range is $110 - $160K.

• Leadership & Team Development : Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a non-hierarchical, respectful culture that prioritizes collaboration and teamwork.
• Operations Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and operational excellence.
• Guest Experience : Maintain the highest standard of guest service to ensure an unforgettable stay, from first impressions to fond farewells.
• Spa Launch and Management : Oversee the setup and ongoing success of the on-site spa, creating an integrated experience for hotel guests.
• Luxury Brand Representation : Uphold the property’s luxury identity with each decision, ensuring our brand values and attention to detail are reflected in every interaction.

Requirements

• Hospitality Experience : Extensive background in luxury hotel management, ideally with experience in boutique settings or similar upscale properties.
• Leadership Style : A collaborative, non-hierarchical approach with a focus on inclusivity and team mentorship. You value input from all team members and lead with respect and support.
• Operational Strength : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with ease.
• Service Excellence : A strong commitment to creating a welcoming, elevated experience that reflects the luxury ethos of our brand.
• Market Knowledge : Familiarity with the luxury tourism market in Victoria, BC, or similar environments, understanding the expectations of high-value guests.
