Our client a longtime localmanufacturer is looking for a Team Lead to join their LabellingDepartment! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repairproducts for automotiveapplication.
Thisrole will be responsible for leading a small team in labelling cansas outlined on the manufacturing order. This is a handson position.
You will be supplying the line using a reach truck coordinatingteam members and physically assisting with the work as well.
Youmust be able to lift 35 pounds and read / write / understand Englishfluently. This position will start as soon as possible.
Salary :
$23.00per hour temporary topermanent.
Hoursof Work :
Our client iscurrently hiring for the night shift although training starts ondays. The shift times will be asfollows :
During Training) Mondayto Friday 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm
AfterTraining) Monday to Friday 4 : 30pm to5 : 30am
KeyTasks andResponsibilities :
- Supervisinga small team and ensuring the line has adequatesupplies.
- Safely labelling cans asoutlined on the manufacturingorder.
- Interpreting and creatingpaperwork related to theorder .
- Communicationwith team members about requirements and quality to ensure smoothoperation.
- Routinecleaning and sanitation ofequipment.
- Withattention to detail checking labels to ensureaccuracy.
- General helpwith other tasks asneeded.
Requirements
- TeamLead or Supervisory experience working in a manufacturing orwarehouse environment is a strongasset.
- Musthave strong English communication skills both spoken andwritten.
- Forklift certification orexperience (reach truck) isrequired.
- Comfort level withcompleting a lot ofpaperwork.
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability towork fulltime 40 hours perweek.
- Demonstrable work ethic andreliability.
- Attention to detail andgood time managementskills.
