We’re hiring an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Manager in Leamington, ON!

• Starting salary around $80,000, based on experience
• Full-time position in a commercial greenhouse environment
• Flexible hours with shift assignments to meet business needs
• Work at heights up to 15 feet using lifting platforms or scissor lifts

Responsibilities :

Lead and support IPM Scouts in pest and disease monitoring, managing team performance

Monitor pest management costs and enforce strict bio-security measures

Coordinate weekly IPM plans with Operational Growers and report critical crop issues promptly

Conduct daily crop inspections, identify and eliminate threats, and document control measures

Collaborate with Corporate IPM Manager to set IPM goals and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements :

Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in horticulture or related field preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in greenhouse crop production or related agriculture sectors

Proven expertise in integrated pest management, pest identification, and use of biological and chemical controls

Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions :

Hot, humid environment (65-100°ree;F) with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Use of platform lifts or scissor lifts for elevated work

Flexible work hours depending on business needs
