Responsibilities
- By using your excellent communication skills and your dedication to building authentic customer relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes
- By installing and repairing complex residential / business alarm systems
- By identifying, analyzing and investigating customer concerns / issues
- By using your strong computer and networking skills to troubleshoot any customer issues
- By taking your passion for smart-home automation and the connected user experience to educate our customers on the possibilities of our technology
Qualifications
Previous experience providing exceptional customer serviceYou're comfortable with solutions based selling, recommending products to your customers and up-selling TELUS services and productsYou are bondable (a security clearance and criminal record check is required)Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's License without GDL or restrictions - or other provincial equivalent, a driver’s abstract will be requiredNormal colour vision which is required to work with color-coded wiringYou can handle a physically demanding workload which includes heavy lifting, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditionsYou are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders along with working on man lifts and scissor liftsFlexibility to work various shifts : days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needsWillingness to support our customers in various areas when neededFluency in English, with proven professional oral and written communications skills, proficiency in other languages would be a bonusPro‑activeness, demonstrated effective decision‑making skills and can work with limited supervisionAbility to plan, prioritize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and effectively work in a team environment and collaborate with other departmentsFollow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulationsStrong computer skillsExhibit enthusiasm to continuous learning, high performance and have a demonstrated ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situationsProven solid work ethic and a high level of professional integrityStrong analytical, detail oriented problem solving skillsOutstanding interpersonal and team communication skillsProfessional, friendly and positive work ethicYou are an ambitious self-starter.Security / alarm installation training will be provided.
