Recreation Therapist - Bachelors, Long-Term Care (Multiple Openings)
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, Training And Experience
To join our team, you will have :
Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation plus one year of recent related experience. Eligible for membership with the British Columbia Therapeutic Recreation Association.
Valid Class 4 vehicle licence.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated planning and instructional skills.
- Ability to organize individual patient / resident treatment programs.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other professional disciplines as part of a team.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Demonstrated ability to safely drive a passenger van and a wheelchair access transport van.
