Your mission :

Our Contact Center takes care of our merchants in North America and makes their lives easier by helping resolving both customer service and technical issues.

We are the first line of support, greeting all our clients, answering majority of their queries, and solving the issues, or escalating them to other relevant departments 24 / 7.

Currently the team is looking for a Merchant Support Specialist to join. This is one of the entry level role in the company that can be a successful trampoline for your career in Nuvei.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Answer inbound customer service and technical support calls from our merchants in English and French;
  • Leverage documentation and support resources to perform with precision;
  • Work in hours shifts we require 24 / 7 availability, including weekends & / or holidays;
  • Rely on professionalism and tact to resolve occasionally critical or difficult situations in a timely manner;
  • Identify trends and report them to promote continuous process improvement;
  • Perform any other related tasks deemed essential to the company's success and our merchants' satisfaction.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to :

  • Problem-solving and solution-driven mentality;
  • Enjoys working in a team while delivering on accountabilities;
  • Executes on well-documented processes and investigates solutions when there is a gap in process documentation;
  • Interested in professional skill development and learning opportunities;
  • Proficiency in French and English (both verbal and written);
  • Being based in Canada, Greater Montreal Area.

Working Language

  • English (written and spoken) is the language used most of the time, as work colleagues, clients, and strategic suppliers are geographically dispersed;
  • French (written and spoken) is required for any position located within Quebec.

Additional information :

This position requires working a rotating schedule with 24 / 7 availability, including weekends & / or holidays . Hours worked during evening, weekend and holidays are paid extra.

Tâches principales / Responsabilités

  • Répondre aux appels entrants du service client et du support technique de nos commerçants en anglais et en français;
  • Tirer parti des ressources de documentation et de support pour effectuer des tâches avec précision;
  • Travaillez par équipes de 7,5 heures nous exigeons une disponibilité 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7, y compris les week-ends et / ou les jours fériés;
  • S'appuyer sur le professionnalisme et le tact pour résoudre des situations occasionnellement critiques ou difficiles dans les meilleurs délais;
  • Identifier les tendances et en rendre compte pour promouvoir l'amélioration continue des processus;
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe jugée essentielle au succès de l'entreprise et à la satisfaction de nos commerçants.

  • Vous possédez des compétences avancées en informatique, en dactylographie et dans la suite MS Office.

Informations complémentaires :

Ce poste nécessite de travailler selon un horaire avec une disponibilité 24h / 24 et 7j / 7, y compris les week-ends et / ou les jours fériés.

Les heures travaillées le soir, le week-end et les jours fériés sont rémunérées en supplément.

  • Le travail se fait 99% en anglais (parlé et écrit) l’équipe de travail et la clientèle desservie étant dispersés géographiquement au Québec et hors-Québec.
  • Les communications à l’interne entre collègues se font en français ou en anglais selon les interlocuteurs. Les fournisseurs stratégiques sont à l’extérieur du Québec.
  • Une connaissance fonctionnelle du français est exigée pour tout poste situé au Québec. La connaissance de l’anglais pour ce poste est nécessaire, le titulaire se rapportant hors Québec et étant appelé à communiquer fréquemment avec l’extérieur du Québec dans le cadre de ses fonctions.
