What Is the Opportunity? The Insurance Technologies team manages a diverse set of applications using various distributed (Windows) and mainframe technologies.
The RBC Insurance Service Level Management Team works in tandem with multiple application support teams within RBC Insurance to ensure change records and implementations abide by the enterprise standards.
In addition to aiding in the communication to the Insurance IT for high priority incidents to allow teams to focus on resolution.
You are also required for 24 / 7 support calls on a rotating basis.
What will you do :
- Review and Approve Change Insurance LOB records to ensure they are in line with Enterprise standards
- Verify and approve Firecall Requests for Insurance.
- Conduct post incident reviews lessons learned after resolution.
- Create, enhance and update reports using ServiceNow (i.e SLA, Changes not closed.. etc)
- Attend numerous meetings representing RBC Insurance IT
- Production Support (office hours and rotating on-call)
- All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Leadership Model ensuring adherence to Privacy principles.
What do you need to succeed? Must Have :
- Experienced working in an Enterprise IT on-call environment, with 2+ years’ experience with ServiceNow
- In depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules
- Proven expertise with JCL
- Experienced with Zeke / Zebb
- Ability to work 24 / 7 support calls on a rotating basis.
Nice to have
- Post- Secondary Education in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
- Team Player with a focus on collaboration
- Passion for troubleshooting and driving results
- Some experience with Scripting
