Job Summary
Kinark has introduced a benefit that gives employees in eligible roles the opportunity to work partially or fully remote if they choose to opt-in for this benefit. This role (Clinical Therapist) is assessed as a Roamer position requiring at least 3 days in the office and two evenings per week (until 8pm), dependent upon client need. This role is also eligible for the compressed work week program upon successful completion of probationary period.
The Clinical Therapist is an integral part of a busy, dynamic and growing clinical program at Kinark Child and Family Services, Community Based Child and Youth Mental Health program in the Northumberland region. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Therapist will be required to liaise with internal and external collaterals in the provision of clinical services. The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for completing comprehensive clinical assessments, formulate and develop individualized treatment plans prior to providing individual, family, and / or group therapy to high risk and complex children, youth, and families within an office-based, as well as a community-based setting, as required. The successful candidate will be required to work some eveningsper week based on client needs.
The Clinical Therapist position is covered by the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2860. Internal applicants will be considered first.
Salary range : Level 1 : $40.25 , Level 2 : $ 42.27 , Level 3 : $44.38

Qualifications
Kinark Child and Family Services conditions of employment include but are not limited to successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or Criminal Broad Record Check, based on position, and completed Pre-Employment Medical certificate.
