Role Overview
The Regional Digital Solutions Specialist (DSS) is responsible for driving growth and penetration of Straumann Group Digital Solutions and achieving related financial results in their assigned region. The DSS reports to the Regional Sales Director and serves as the local digital expert for regional Dental Territory Managers (DTMs), mentoring and coaching them on selling digital solutions and building deep digital relationships with clinicians, laboratories, and key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales goals in an assigned region through effective selling and marketing of company products to existing and potential new customers.
- Drive new leads, develop a strong sales pipeline, and implement strategies to increase market penetration through engagement with the local DTM regional team.
- Follow up phone calls and Teams support with doctors and labs.
- Co‑travel with local DTM’s team to drive opportunities in specified region.
- Provide product demonstrations in the specified region – live or virtual.
- Execute digital events.
- Plan sales activities based on the sales process to ensure the region meets or exceeds assigned monthly and / or annual sales goals.
- Coach DTMs on digital solutions workflows and qualify digital leads from DTMs.
- Support regional DTMs with quoting large digital solutions bundle proposals.
- Lead regional team meetings and business discussions regarding digital workflows to advance DTM knowledge on positioning with clinicians and laboratories.
- Collaborate with Area Digital Business Development Managers to develop regional strategies.
- Support implementation of digital plans in the field – product launches, key projects, product tests, etc., serving as the local expert to DTMs and customers.
- Implement digital lab services strategic projects in the field in collaboration with Area BDMs; analyze customers’ digital business needs and opportunities and plan ways to increase business flow.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders to expand market share.
- Stay informed on company policies, new technologies, products, competitive activity, and other general information.
- Manage assigned geographical territory within allocated expense budget.
- Work closely with the RSD to provide recommendations for priorities, timetables, and resource management.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and unit projections and input into the development of the annual sales forecast.
- Maintain CRM activities using Straumann Group SAP CRM, logging quality activities with every customer and prospect.
- Apply advanced sales knowledge to handle complex situations or accounts.
- Attend trade shows and dental conferences.
- Travel within the assigned region, including evenings and weekends.

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in a digital technology focused role or dental experience.3+ years of experience selling digital solutions to dentists and lab owners.Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and maintaining auto insurance coverage.Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer skills : PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM.Proficiency in CAD and planning software operation.Fluency in digital workflows such as IOS, 3D printing, and CAD / CAM milling.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.Benefits
