AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring an experienced Network Technician Coordinator for work in Ontario
You will earn :
- 41 per hour before overtime
- 30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
- Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
- Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
- Contract Duration is 1-120 days
Duties & Responsibilities :
Plan, configure and organize work relating to network installation / operation / maintenance (LAN, MAN and WAN services)Responsible for network infrastructure troubleshootingResponsible for permit applications related to the construction of infrastructureAnalyze installation optionsEstablish project schedules for construction and installation projectsResponsible for documenting network installations and ensuring GIS records are updatedEnsure projects are completed within budgetMaintain inventory levels of necessary suppliesMaintain a safe work environment while complying with all health and safety requirements.Skills & Qualifications :
Post-Secondary diploma in an Electronics Technology Program.Minimum 1 year experience in a network management or telecommunications construction environment.Strong working knowledge of fibre optic construction and locating methodologies.Strong knowledge of telecommunications (fibre optic and wireless) network design.Class G driver's license.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skillsFluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)AFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
