Position Overview :

We have an opportunity for you to join our production team as an Inspector C at our Cambridge, Ontario facility. Each member of our team plays a critical role in BWXT Canada’s success and in ensuring we meet our customers’ quality, cost and delivery expectations. Inspector C will conduct non-destructive examination based on the certifications held.

Your Day to Day as an Inspector C :

• Perform NDE in all areas of the Shop.
• Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
• Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
• Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
• Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, project management, engineering) as well as customer representatives.
• Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines / regulations.
• Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Required Qualifications :

oCEDO

oUT CGSB-1

oRT CGSB-1

o2 years as a Fabrication / Machining inspector with BWXT

o5 years as Fabrication / Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting / Welding experience within BWXT

oCertified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)

oWeekday days : 6 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR

oWeekday afternoons : 4 : 00 p.m. – 2 : 00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR

oWeekend days : 6 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours) OR

oWeekend afternoons : 5 : 00 p.m. – 4 : 00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)

The pay range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) is expected to be between $48.36 and $48.36 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
