Key Responsibilities :
- Expert Support : Offer technical guidance and support for electronic and electrical designs and systems in aircraft, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and FAA regulations.
- Engineering Orders : Develop engineering orders to direct technical repair activities, interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings, and produce CAD electrical diagrams.
- Design & Modifications : Create and modify avionics and electrical designs for aircraft systems and installations. Ensure all modifications adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Testing Equipment : Oversee the use of avionics calibration testing equipment, determine testing needs, and manage the procurement or rental of necessary equipment.
- Training & Coaching : Train and guide technicians in the correct use of testing equipment and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
