Responsibilities & Duties :

- Maintain a high level of product quality in line with customer expectations and requirements.
- Coordinate labor, workflow, and materials over shifts to achieve on-time delivery and quality.
- Monitor production performance against quality performance measures
- Daily production yields, efficiency, and productivity on shift
- Aligns production team with daily output requirements on a shift; provides front-line leadership
- Checking and verifying recipe formulation and specifications daily
- Preparation of the production areas for inspections / tours, etc.
- Coordination of overall work cell area upkeep and plant cleanliness
- Liaising with other production line teams and team leaders as needed
- Organizing production runs for sample products
- Liaising with QA on quality issues
- Supporting staff on a day-to-day basis for general troubleshooting / problem solving / conflict resolution
- Ensure SPC data collection is collected properly in the work cell
- Ensure all daily shift paperwork is kept in order and completed properly and turned in at shift end
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Responsible for the relocation of duties and responsibilities as required, to cover the absence of key staff
- Responsible for compliance with product safety, legality, regulatory, and quality systems
Position Requirements :
Continuous process food manufacturing experience (preferably frozen)Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written).Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organizational skills.Strong problem solving and analytical skills
