Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team at our Guelph or Orangeville office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks :

• Conduct audits, prepare working papers, and financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients from various industries.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients, addressing their requests and suggestions promptly.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
• Ensure continuous communication with team members about progress updates and any arising issues.

Your experience and education

• You are working towards or have received your CPA designation.
• You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit within the public accounting industry.
• You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
• You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
