Spa Massage Therapist (Year Round)
Duties :
- To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- To be a creator of exceptional spa treatments for all guests
- Proficiency in all components of massage
- Prepare and maintain treatment area supplies daily
- Ensure the privacy of each guest
- Maintain consistent spa inventory and order supplies as needed
- Properly care for equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift in a professional manner
- Perform consultation and post treatment product recommendations for each guest
- Promote and sell services and body products
- Responsible for daily POS cash outs and reconciliations
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management / Return-to-Work Programs
- To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
Qualifications :
- Certification in Massage Therapy required
- BC Registered Massage Therapist designation a strong asset
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- At least one year of experience in the Spa or Salon industry is preferred
- Please note that set days of employment cannot beguaranteed. Schedules will be set as per business level needs.
