Job Description
Major Job Functions
Manage component repair processUnderstand the do not repair (DNR) process by identifying DNR components and the impact of DNR statusCreate failure analysis reports and recommend next stepsObserve conditional core acceptance tests and verify sales levelComplete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)Interact with internal and external customersWork with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as requiredCandidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement.
Specific Skills & Experience
Mechanic Ticket considered an asset (Automotive, Truck & Transport etc), strong mechanical aptitude with desire to learnClean Drivers’ AbstractUnderstanding of Finning and CAT product or general line, parts and mechanical servicesProficient in MS Office ApplicationsSafety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detailPrevious repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an assetImportant Details
