Job description

Grandview Medical Centre Family Health Team is seeking a 12-month contract full-time RPN, to work in a busy 16 physician clinic. EMR experience along with primary care experience is an asset. Duties will include, but are not limited to :

Telephone assessment, advice and relay of physician messages and results
EMR documentation
Procedures including wart treatments, dressings, ear syringing
Vitals, immunizations
Nursing led well-child and diabetes checks
Assisting physicians with procedures and processing of patients

Education Requirements

Practical nursing diploma

Certification and Membership Requirements

Entitled to practice with no restrictions, in good standing with CNO

weRPN membership

Current CPR certification

Additional Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

Good critical thinking and decision-making skills;

Proof of COVID19 vaccination will be required prior to starting the position
