Job descriptionDirect and control daily operations Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Determine merchandise and services to be sold Develop and implement marketing strategies Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Determine staffing requirements Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Recruit, hire and supervise staff and / or volunteers Conduct performance reviews Supervise office and volunteer staff Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years in roles such as restaurant, tourism, food services Computer and technology knowledge : Point of sale system, Word processing software, Inventory control software, Electronic mail, MS Outlook Transportation : Own transportation, willing to travel Health benefits : Health care plan Other benefits : Free parking available, Learning / training paid by employer, On-site amenities, Paid time off (volunteering or personal days), Team building opportunities, Parking available A Canadian citizen A permanent resident of Canada A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
