Job Summary : As a Financial Analyst for our IT Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and control to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop, monitor, and manage budgets, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Budget Planning and Development : - Work closely with IT project managers and other IT leaders to develop detailed project budgets, considering resource requirements, capital expenditures, and operational costs. - Collaborate with department heads to understand the financial needs of ongoing and upcoming projects.
Financial Analysis : - Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for any discrepancies. - Evaluate financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
Forecasting : - Develop accurate and timely financial forecasts to assist in decision-making and long-term planning. - Analyze trends and market conditions that may impact budgetary requirements.
Financial Reporting : - Generate comprehensive financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and budgetary metrics. - Provide regular updates on budget status, financial risks, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT engineers, project managers, finance, accounting, and procurement, to gather relevant financial information and ensure alignment with project goals. - Communicate budgetary information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Budget Analyst, preferably in the IT or engineering sector in a complex eco-system. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in financial modeling and budgeting software. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
