Port Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a Project Manager at PHP, you will report to the Engineering and Asset Manager and be responsible to support or lead the development of new project / work scopes, maintain project control through budget / schedule tracking, analysis, forecasting and reporting.
The Project Manager will have ownership of projects from initiation to close-out, including coordination of project implementation with all stakeholders, effective management of engineering consultants, third-party contractors, and fabricators, and reporting project outcomes.
Requirements : Candidates must be capable of performing safely in a highly technical and flexible work environment. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is proficient with estimating, scheduling and project controls. Experience / Education :
- Bachelor of Engineering or significant experience in project / construction management on industrial sites.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of contract law as it pertains to executing projects on an industrial site.
- Experienced in interfacing with contractors tracking site safety and productivity
- Proficient in project budget development and tracking.
