We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our dynamic accounting team . Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in processing accounts payable and performing various analyses related to the firm’s accounting.
He / she will also be responsible for proposing recommendations to ensure continuous improvement of accounts payable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the recording of cash receipts and supplier invoices;
- Ensure the timely issue of cheques and preparation of wire transfers to ensure payment of suppliers according to applicable terms;
- Investigate invoice recording discrepancies in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Recommend and implement process improvement projects at accounts payable level;
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and related procedures;
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives;
- Perform weekly bank reconciliation reports;
- Prepare and analyze various reports (if desired);
- Provide a highly professional customer service to internal customers;
- Fill in sporadically for vacancies or absences in the accounting team related to accounts payable and bank deposits;
- Perform any other related accounting tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of a college diploma (DEC) in accounting;
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position;
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Bilingualism (an asset);
- Proficiency in Simply Accounting (an asset).
