Job Profile
Under the direction of the Manager of Finance / Deputy Treasurer, the Supervisor of Procurement Services, serving as the legal purchasing agent for the City as appointed by Council, is responsible for supervising the City’s supply chain and contract services program; ensures compliance with the City’s Procurement By-law, Trade Agreements, all applicable case law, supporting policies, business processes and procedures; and provides expert guidance to departments. The Supervisor works collaboratively with management across the organization to support strategic procurement planning, timely contract renewals, and cooperative purchasing initiatives. This role ensures transparency, fairness, and fiscal responsibility in all purchasing activities, while leading and mentoring procurement staff to maintain high standards of compliance and service delivery.

Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness Training Certificate from the Ministry of Labour (may be obtained post offer)
Valid G driver's license.
Your compensation
The annual salary range for this non-union position is $107,360 to $130,932 (Band Level 6).We offer a comprehensive benefits package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday – 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. (35 hours per week).Occasional evening hours required to attend Council, Public meetings, etc.
