Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Nurture and supervise senior-level client relationships while pinpointing service prospects Review personal and corporate tax returns Assess audit, review, and compilation engagements, along with other financial disclosures Provide and advocate for superior client and business services Extend support, guidance, and growth avenues to staff across all levels Create and facilitate internal training sessions for staff Supervise and control engagement budgets, billings, and work in progress discrepancies Fulfill additional accounting, finance, and special project duties as needed
Skills & Attributes for Success :
Bilingual language (French / English) is a requirement Chartered Professional Accountant designation 8 - 10+ years relevant public accounting experience Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite, Caseware, and / or TaxPrep is considered an asset Professional approach with an understanding of client-focused work in a fast-paced environment Dedicated organizational and time management skills with the ability to pivot between tasks and prioritize workflow to meet strict deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
