Structural/ Fabrication Designer

Position : Structural / Fabrication Designer
Location : Uxbridge, ON
Salary : $30 per hour
Industry : Fabrication / Designing / Solidworks
Employment Term : Full Time / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing and improving models for new and existing furnaces
- Finding any quality or performance-related issues and guide problem resolution
- Manages the modeling process from information request to final report
- Set clear guidelines for design and / or process changes.
- Continuous improvement
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Experience :
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required
- 3 -5 years of experience in structural / fabrication design
- Previous experience with Industrial furnaces preferred
- Hands-on Solidworks experience required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to travel locally to meet with suppliers
