Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare and Social Assistance industry, located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. This role involves working in the office and it offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The primary focus of this role will be to manage the accounts payable function, maintain accurate records, and process invoices.Responsibilities : - Accurately process all Purchase Order invoices and post them to the ERP system.- Handle the manual processing of accounts payable.- Ensure the accurate maintenance of all customer credit records.- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and timeliness.- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing.- Apply skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure financial accuracy.- Perform check runs and coding invoices as part of the accounts payable process.- Prepare for the transition to auto match in the coming year.- Work as part of a six-member team to ensure smooth operations.- Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)- Should have experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices- Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing is required- Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus- Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential- Experience with SAP is highly desirable- Should have a background in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry- Prior experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk is advantageous- Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required- Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure- Willingness to continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
