Territory Account Manager

We currently have an opportunity for a Territory Account Manager to join our team, working in the southern Alberta and southeastern BC region. Barkman Concrete is a Canadian family-owned company with the corporate office is in Steinbach, MB. Working alongside sales team members from other regions of western Canada, we are committed to long-term business relationships and staying on top of new market trends and opportunities.

As a Territory Account Manager with Barkman your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain territory through networking, and building lasting relationships with dealers, and contractors leading to sales of Barkman product
• Identify new business opportunities for continued growth
• Partner with the sales team, leadership, and other stakeholders to increase sales and revenue within the territory to meet sales goals
• Communicate and work with various departments including Finance, Operations, Order-desk and Shipping to ensure orders are completed correctly
• Ensure customer satisfaction, providing information, support, and education on Barkman products
• With the assistance of Marketing provide content, branding, and displays to customers including updating/maintaining displays
• Participate in tradeshows, industry events, and customer support events
• Travel will be required to visit customers within the territory

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of landscape, and construction industry
• Customer service experience
• Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Critical thinking and solution focused
• Strong organizational and time management skills, effective prioritizing and follow-up
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Office , Teams, Excel, Epicor, etc.)
• Valid Driver’s license
