Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will report to the Production Team Lead and be responsible for the assembly and final testing of products. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret written and pictorial instructions to gather required mechanical parts.
• Assemble parts according to set instructions.
• Work at an individual station or as part of an assembly line.
• Utilize power tools, torque tools, drills, and screwdrivers.
• Stand for 99% of the workday.
• Assemble 15 batteries per day on each line.
• Assist in warehouse and packaging tasks as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a clean, bright, and warm manufacturing floor. The company, which manufactures lithium batteries for marine applications, employs a multicultural team of 25 people. The dress code is comfortable casual with steel-toed work boots required. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with potential overtime after shifts and on weekends. Expect a busy but rewarding 50-hour workweek during peak times.
