Hunting Hills High School is seeking a passionate and student-centered Inclusive Education Teacher to join our team in a living skills program for students with developmental delays, potentially with physical, sensory, or medical conditions. This role is ideal for a generalist or elementary-trained teacher with strong skills in foundational literacy and numeracy who is interested in working in a high school environment. The successful candidate will believe deeply in inclusive practices, relationship based teaching, and helping students build confidence in literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
This position focuses on foundational learning for a small cohort of students, providing meaningful, hands‑on, and structured learning experiences that support academic growth, independence, and overall well‑being. The teacher will be responsible for approximately 15 students and will coordinate the work of four Educational Assistants to ensure all students receive targeted, individualized support.
The successful candidate will support students in an already structured, inclusive program focused on engagement, skill development, wellness, and independence.
