JobDescription : Senior VP Business Development (ExternalWholesaler)
We have anopportunity for an ambitious business development leader to driveresults for a family of funds specializing in alternativeinvestments.
Your primary responsibility would be selling into thealready established National Accounts of the firm with the focus onWestern Canada (Alberta & BC).
We offer a competitive basesalary along with an attractive commission / bonusplan.
Base Salary Range : $140000 $200000uncapped commission
Role : Conduct sales meetings with IIROC advisors while explaining theadvantages of partnering with the firm & the benefits ofalternative investments. To achieve this youwill :
Leverageyour established advisor relationships while continuing to networkfor new relationships.
Assist indeveloping and implementing strategies designed to provide supportto advisors.
Assist with marketingstrategies for the firm to grow AUM
Ideal Candidate Profile :
10 years of External Wholesaleexperience with a strong track record of success in sales &a large established network of Advisors to sellinto
Experience in sellingalternative investments
Universitydegree or equivalent industry education (industry designations arean added bonus)
Strong communicationskills (both written &verbal)
Ability to work wellindependently & also in ateam
High energy selfstarter&selfmotivated
