Position Title : Document Control Clerk Length of Contract : 1 year Location : Ottawa, ON Responsibilities
Process change requests, including DCO (Document Change Orders) and DCP(Design Change Package) on a daily basis which includes : Conducting a review to ensure that the request contains complete information;
Evaluating the impact of change on related document requirements and / or theaffected sites;Updating the documents;Routing documents to appropriate individuals for approval;Releasing documents.
- Plan / Schedule work orders
- Process report type documents as required including, but not limited to : validations,verifications, engineering files, project charters, FMEAs, VMPs and reinstatementforms.
- Use asset management software, such as Maximo, work order systems, and inventory management systems
- Able to train to complete basic calibrations
- Courier away and receive back equipment
- Research information in order to input change requests and other documentationchanges and system changes.
- Maintains documentation records.
- Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.
- Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
Requirements and Assets
- High School Diploma, minimum
- 1 3 years of similar or related experience
- Experience in a regulated environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of industry documentation standards is an asset
- Strong knwoledge of MS Office applications
- Intermediate experience with a Quality Documentation Database is preferred
- Excellent English oral and written comprehension
