Southbridge Health Care LP owns and operates several long-term care and retirement homes throughout many urban and rural areas of Ontario. We are currently seeking an HR Program Development Lead, to lead and support enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, employee experience, and leadership effectiveness. This role blends project leadership, HR operations, analytics, and organizational development to deliver impactful programs across compensation, performance management, learning, leadership development, recognition, HR systems, and change management.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, Corporate & Programs Management, the role partners closely with HR, leaders, and key stakeholders to implement data-informed solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic plan and culture.
This is a full-time position eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days per week remote. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with some flexibility depending on project requirements and occasional need for overtime. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven, requiring high attention to detail and strong time management skills. The role includes regular use of computer systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and deliver end-to-end HR programs and initiatives across compensation, performance management, recognition, HRIS, learning, and organizational development.
- Manage HR projects using structured project management and change methodologies, including planning, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications.
- Support HRIS implementations and enhancements, ensuring data integrity, system optimization, user adoption, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Lead compensation initiatives including benchmarking, job evaluations, salary structure reviews, and support for incentive and reward programs.
- Own and coordinate the annual performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, equity, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve leadership, talent development, and learning programs aligned with strategic and cultural priorities.
- Conduct performance, capability, and change readiness assessments; identify gaps and recommend targeted development and organizational solutions.
- Facilitate leadership, coaching, communication, and change management learning sessions for individuals and groups.
- Lead change management activities for HR programs, policies, and technology initiatives, including impact assessments, communications, and training.
- Partner with leaders and managers to provide consultative HR / LR guidance on performance development, talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Leverage HR analytics to monitor workforce trends, develop dashboards and reports, and provide insights to support evidence-based decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and service delivery to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Knowledge and Skills Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR programs, project management, and / or organizational development.Strong knowledge of compensation, performance management, learning, and employee engagement practices.Demonstrated experience with change management and stakeholder consulting.Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.Proficiency with HRIS platforms and project management tools (e.g., Dayforce, MS Project).Change management, adult learning, facilitation, or coaching certifications are considered assets.Why You’ll Love Working Here :
