Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform technical testing and inspections alongside test technicians and field inspectors.
- Ensure tests are conducted according to approved standards and procedures.
- Prepare project and test plans using applicable standards or developed methods.
- Develop and approve templates for evaluation and inspection data collection.
- Review and interpret results in collaboration with the technical team.
- Draft and finalize comprehensive reports, including construction evaluations, testing results, and inspection summaries.
- Provide technical interpretations and validate results of tests performed.
- Report project status and outcomes to leadership.
- Continuously improve existing testing and inspection methods.
- Develop and validate new testing methods in line with evolving standards.
- Monitor and update the Proficiency Testing program annually.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Review and approve technical reports, project files, and test documentation.
- Represent the company in national standards committees and technical audits.
- Support accreditation processes and participate in internal / external audits.
- Collaborate with Sales and Certification departments to support project quoting and timelines.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
- Schedule and assign technical personnel for testing, construction evaluation, and field inspections.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, field inspections, and standards interpretation.Professional Engineer or AScT association member preferred.Bachelor of Science / Engineering or equivalent technical experience.Benefits
